Synopsis

Each volume depicts a different heroine.

- Vol. 1: Tachibana Tsubomi
Tells the story of Tsubomi Tachibana, a fifth grader dealing with issues such as her mother's pregnancy, her first period, and the strange feelings she has started to get when she has been around boys.

- Vol. 2: Kusakabe Tsubomi
Tells the story of Tsubomi Kusakabe, a fifth grader, who encounters an alien wanting to do research of earth. It turns out he has picked Tsubomi to be his research subject.

- Vol. 3: Shiina Tsubomi
Shiina Tsubomi is a fifth-grader. She and her childhood friend and best friend, Mikito, have a complicated relationship. The two have both advanced to fifth grade. One day, Tsubomi receives a cute mechanical pencil from a mysterious man in town. This mechanical pencil leads Tsubomi in an unexpected direction!?

- Vol. 4: Katanashi Tsubomi
Takanashi Tsubomi is a 10-year-old girl whose mind and body are still in a delicate state. One day, she receives an email from a girl she doesn't know named "MIRA?" saying, "Please be my friend." Soon after, a transfer student named "Mirai" appears, and Tsubomi becomes friends with "two Miras." However, the true identity of "MIRA?" remains a mystery, and it seems that Mirai also has a secret...

- Vol. 5: Aizaki Tsubomi
Aizaki Tsubomi is a fifth-grader living alone with her father. One day, she slips out of bed and meets another "me" from another world!

- Vol. 6: Nike Tsubomi
Tsubomi, a precocious fifth-grader who loves fashion, and Urano, the plainest and most timid boy in his class. Despite their opposite personalities, when they do a certain thing at the same time, their bodies suddenly switch places!?!? "My body suddenly turned into his!?"

- Vol. 7: Yagi Tsubomi
A crybaby and kind-hearted Tsubomi has been possessed by a ghost with amnesia! She's inseparable from the ghost, Subaru, at school, at home, and even in the bathroom. As a teenage girl, she wants him to regain his memories and find peace, but...!?

- Vol. 8: Honda Tsubomi
Tsubomi was troubled. Her classmate, Aiba, was confessing his love for her every day. He used to be smart and cool last year, so why the sudden change in character??? Actually, there's a shocking reason for it...! It turns out Aiba is a "???"!
