Throne of Solitude

As the tyrant’s humanity is crushed beneath the weight of his crown and oracles spew their lies, the two of them are trapped beasts upon this lonely throne. The tyrant twists the laws to imprison the sole ray of light. Meanwhile from the shadows, the Saint forges religious piety amongst the masses into a dagger, biding his time. When loyalty betrays the tyrant, the bells of a new ruler’s coronation ring out. And the masses welcome an even crueler “God”. The flames of war spread far across the land. His unintentional oath from years prior, has now become a marriage contract against his will, with one obsessive declaration from his King: “From this day forward, your world shall only exist of me.”
